What is LiedSound?
LiedSound is a music-discovery platform with public song rankings and artist profiles.
Who is it for?
It is for independent artists and people who want to discover and support music.
How do I submit a song?
Use the submission page, complete the required details and declarations, and continue to Stripe Checkout. An entry is published only after payment is verified on the server.
What must a song meet?
You must be entitled to use the artist name, image, preview, and Spotify link you submit, and confirm the declarations shown in the form.
How long can the preview be?
An audio preview can be up to 30 seconds long.
How does Money Ranking work?
It is ordered by the sum of each song's verified Stripe payments, less refunds from those same payments. Stripe fees do not reduce the amount used for position.
How is the position determined?
Position depends on verified amounts remaining after refunds and can change with other verified payments or moderation.
Can I add more money to a song already taking part?
Yes. The authenticated owner can add an additional amount to their own entry.
Do I pay the total again or only the additional amount?
Checkout is created only for the additional amount. The total changes after the new payment is verified.
What if another artist outbids me?
The ranking updates by verified amounts remaining after refunds; you can add an amount to your own entry if you meet the requirements.
Can I upload the same song twice?
No. LiedSound blocks duplicate active entries for the same song and artist and directs the owner to the existing entry.
How does Community Ranking work?
It is ordered only by legitimate votes from verified accounts and does not use payments, reviews, or other rankings.
Can I vote for my own song?
No. Owners cannot vote for songs on their own artist profiles.
Do I need an account?
You can explore public content without one. A verified-email account is needed to vote and manage profiles you own.
How does Magic Link work?
Enter your email and receive a secure access link. You do not need to create a password.
What information can an artist see about a song?
In Manage, an authorized artist can see private aggregates for impressions, preview plays, and clicks; they do not receive raw visitor identifiers.
How does feedback work?
Reviews rate voice, melody, mix and master, and cover. They can include an optional public comment and a helpful mark. You can also send feedback about LiedSound.
Can other people see private comments?
There is no private-comment feature for artists: review comments are optional and public. Private song-management data is visible only to the authorized artist.
Does LiedSound guarantee streams, followers, success, or a permanent position?
No. An entry or verified payment does not guarantee plays, followers, commercial success, or a permanent position.
How do refunds work?
LiedSound offers a voluntary policy for one payment of EUR 10.00 or more requested within 3 days. Separate payments are not combined and applicable legal rights are not limited. Write to contactliedsound@gmail.com.
How do I report content?
Use the reporting tools available beside content or email contactliedsound@gmail.com with the necessary information.
What if I believe someone is using my music without permission?
Use the available reporting tools or email contactliedsound@gmail.com, identifying the work and the URL or location of the content.
